J. Charity is involved in several national and local organizations: Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc., the National Black MBA Association, and the National Baptist Convention of USA., Inc. She is a graduate of Bethel University, where she holds BS degrees in Management and Organizational Development and an MBA in Human Resource Management.
